This poster is an entry I submitted for an American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA) scholarship. I chose The ERACE Foundation in Tennessee to be my hypothetical client. It’s a full-color 11″ x 17″ poster, composed in Adobe Photoshop CS5 with stock photos and textures.

I used thick, bold type in complementary colors to emphasize the two concepts that the organization addresses–racism and equality. The dancer serves to represent both artistic expression as well as urban communities, in which racial minorities are generally overrepresented.

While I’m open to a variety of design projects, I have a special interest in marketing and promoting social justice issues and related organizations.
